Cal Poly’s disruptive interior anchor: Ethan Rodriguez is back in business
In the 2024 season, Ethan Rodriguez flashed as Cal Poly’s most productive returning defensive lineman, earning Honorable Mention All-Big Sky after posting 26 tackles, 9.5 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, a forced fumble, a pass breakup, and a blocked kick. He missed the 2023 season due to injury, so the big story is durability: when healthy, he’s a high-motor interior disruptor who lives in the backfield and brings veteran leadership. If your team needs power, length, and proven havoc creation inside, he’s a strong fit.
