Darin Conley is a disruptive, improving interior defender with every-down upside
In the 2025 season, Conley emerged as a real interior force at Ball State, starting all 12 games and posting 28 tackles, 4.5 tackles for loss, and 1.5 sacks after a solid 2024 campaign with 16 tackles, 3.0 TFL, 2.0 sacks, and a blocked PAT. Ball State’s staff described him as one of its best players at penetration and run defense, which fits a DT who can create backfield disruption without needing the spotlight. For a team, he profiles as a tough, productive, high-effort lineman with growth still on the table.
