Seattle U lefty Drake Gabel brings power stuff and strikeout upside
Drake Gabel is a 6-foot-1, 205-pound left-handed pitcher for Seattle U whose profile points to a power arm with real upside: at Ridgefield, he posted a strong 2024 season with an 8-1 record, 2.71 ERA, and 10.2 K/9, and he also showed plus athletic testing numbers, including a 93.62 percentile score and a 7.24-second 60-yard dash. He looks like a fit for teams that value competitiveness, strike-throwing potential, and a physical lefty who can miss bats rather than just survive innings.[2][3][5]
