Zach Carlson is a sneaky-efficient Wildcats outfielder with upside
In the 2025 season, Northwestern’s Zach Carlson flashed as a useful contact-and-gap bat, hitting .276 with a .364 OBP in 33 plate appearances while starting seven games and producing extra-base pop in key moments, including doubles against Penn State and Notre Dame. He entered college with a strong prep reputation — Perfect Game listed him as Utah’s No. 1 outfielder and No. 9 overall player in his class — and his value is the blend of disciplined at-bats, versatility, and steady competitive energy. If you want a smart, low-drama OF who can grow into more, he’s a fit.
