Pierre-Luc Jacques

a steady Islanders arm with late-inning grit

In the 2026 season, Pierre-Luc Jacques has been a dependable right-handed pitcher for Texas A&M-Corpus Christi, appearing in key relief and swing roles while posting a 5.36 ERA, 1.61 WHIP, and a 2-3 record across 40.1 innings. The standout trait is his trust factor: the Islanders have used him in tight spots, and he’s delivered multiple solid multi-inning outings, including a win over Stephen F. Austin and a three-inning start against Texas Southern. He looks like a competitive, versatile arm who can absorb innings and compete—good fit for a team needing toughness, not just flash.
