Cal Poly TE Sam Hedrick brings size, red-zone juice, and proven receiver production
Sam Hedrick is a 6-3, 245-pound senior tight end at Cal Poly who transferred in after four seasons at Davidson, where he showed real receiving upside with 4 catches for 98 yards and a touchdown in 2024, plus two TD grabs before a season-ending injury in 2023. He stands out as a physical, experienced target with clear red-zone value and a high-motor background that also included defensive production in high school. The main question for a team is durability, but when healthy he looks like a dependable, versatile TE fit who can add toughness and matchup problems.
