Lauren Sackett is Indiana State’s steady two-way pitching anchor
In the 2025 season, Sackett emerged as a durable, high-leverage arm for Indiana State, ranking among the MVC leaders in opponent batting average (.266), strikeouts (89), and saves (3) while also logging 107.0 innings and seven complete games. Her best trait is composure: she has shown she can start, finish, or lock down games in relief, and Indiana State noted a complete-game shutout plus multiple strong outings against quality opponents. If you need a competitive, versatile pitcher with proven toughness and late-game reliability, she fits.
