Caleb Clover is VCU’s steady, strike-throwing righty with swing-and-miss upside
In the 2026 season, VCU’s Caleb Clover has worked as a useful right-handed arm, posting a 4.76 ERA over 11.1 innings in conference/stat-tracked action and delivering a strong 2.0-inning scoreless outing in an April road win at Longwood; over the broader VCU listing, he’s shown durability with 98.1 career innings and 84 strikeouts. He looks like a composed bullpen option who can give length, miss bats, and handle leverage without a lot of drama—the kind of pitcher coaches trust when the game starts to wobble.
