In the 2026 season, freshman linebacker Austin Krug is a 6-foot-2, 215-pound Torero with a strong high-school résumé: 100 tackles, 11 hurries, nine tackles for loss and one sack at Los Gatos High. He’s a fit for teams that value instinct, physicality and special-teams energy, and his football pedigree stands out too—his father played linebacker at Oregon and his uncle was a Notre Dame quarterback.
