Joey Wittig brings power-armed bullpen depth to LA Tech
Joey Wittig is a 6-foot, 185-pound junior right-hander for Louisiana Tech who arrived from Northwest Florida State and has shown strikeout ability with low-walk traits in his junior-college track record. In 2025 at Northwest Florida State, he posted a 5.29 ERA with 18 strikeouts and just 2 walks, and Louisiana Tech notes show he has already handled relief work for the Bulldogs in 2026, including a scoreless outing against Liberty with 2 innings, 2 hits, 0 runs, 0 walks, and 1 strikeout. He looks like a useful fit if you want a bullpen arm with some command and competitiveness, though not yet a finished product.
