Mekhi Hagens is a big-play, dual-threat QB who proved he can carry an offense
In the 2024 season at Arkansas-Pine Bluff, Mekhi Hagens emerged as one of the SWAC’s most productive passers, throwing for 2,541 yards and 16 touchdowns while also adding 3 rushing scores. He was the conference’s No. 2 passer in yards and No. 3 in passing touchdowns, and he earned SWAC Offensive Player of the Week honors after a 276-yard, 3-TD outing against Tennessee State. The appeal is the combo platter: 6-foot-3 size, arm talent, and enough mobility to punish defenses when plays break down. He looks like a QB who can raise the floor of an offense and still has room to sharpen consistency.
