6-6 Air Force RHP Davis Rhyne is turning into a reliable late-inning weapon
In the 2026 season, Davis Rhyne has been a high-leverage arm for Air Force, earning his first career save and showing he can miss bats in short bursts, including four strikeouts over 3.2 innings against UConn and four more over two scoreless innings vs. South Carolina. He’s a junior at 6-foot-6 with a power pitcher’s frame, and his value is the combination of length, strikeout ability, and flexibility to work as both a starter and bullpen piece. If you want a big-bodied righty who can handle pressure, he’s a strong fit.
