Shelby Schultz has become Tarleton State’s workhorse ace and one of the WAC’s most reliable left-handed pitchers
Schultz is a high-impact fit for teams that want a proven power pitcher who can carry heavy innings and still miss bats: as of the 2026 season, she led Tarleton State with 110 strikeouts and had already piled up 16 wins, 12 complete games, and 3 saves while holding opponents to a .259 average.[1] Her value goes beyond the box score—she has repeatedly earned conference pitcher-of-the-week honors, and sources describe her as a hitter’s nightmare with steady command and the stamina to anchor multiple games in a week.[1][3][4]
