Madison Edwards is JMU’s steady-contact spark plug in the middle infield
In the 2026 season, Madison Edwards delivered exactly the kind of high-floor production coaches love: she started all 51 games for James Madison, hit .314 with 49 hits, 12 multi-hit games, and a nine-game hitting streak, while adding nine doubles, three home runs, and 23 RBI. She also earned CSC Academic All-District honors and posted JMU Athletic Director’s Scholar-Athlete recognition, underscoring a strong all-around profile. At 5-foot-5, she brings toughness, consistency, and lineup stability rather than flash — a reliable fit for teams that value dependable infield play, bat-to-ball skill, and winning habits.
