Drew Friberg is Belmont’s high-volume, high-efficiency floor spacer
Friberg’s calling card is elite shooting: Belmont noted he became one of the nation’s top three-point threats, and he was the MVC leader in 3-point percentage while ranking seventh nationally in that category in early 2023. In the 2022-23 season, he averaged 11.1 points, 4.2 rebounds, and shot 45.5% from three in 32 games, which makes him a clean fit for any system that values spacing, movement shooting, and low-mistake offense. He’s a 6'7" forward who brings size to his shot-making, though he is more specialist than shot-creator.
