Texas Southern lefty Collin Dennis: durable arm, but command needs a rebound
In the 2026 season, Collin Dennis has logged 14.1 innings for Texas Southern with a 10.05 ERA, 20 hits, 17 walks and only 2 strikeouts, which points to an arm still searching for consistency, not a finished product[13][2]. The good news: he’s a left-handed pitcher with a sturdy 5'10", 195-pound frame and enough experience to stay in the mix; the caution flag is the contact and traffic on the bases, so his fit comes down to whether a staff believes it can clean up command and help him turn strength into outs[1][3].
