Konner Quinn brings size, strike-throwing upside, and late-blooming starter traits to USI
Konner Quinn enters Southern Indiana as a 6-foot-5, 235-pound right-hander with a real starter’s frame and a track record of missing bats: in 2023 he went 4-1 with a 1.06 ERA and 59 strikeouts for LaVille High School, then posted a 4.50 ERA with 9 strikeouts as a freshman at Wabash Valley in 2024 before joining USI.[2][3] At Southern Indiana in 2026, he appeared in eight games and logged a 5.79 ERA across 4.2 innings with three strikeouts, while his roster bio shows 30 strikeouts across two college seasons and a 21-K best in 2025.[1] The appeal is simple: big body, proven high-school dominance, and enough arm talent to develop into a useful bullpen weapon or depth starter if the consistency comes along.[1][2]
