A.J. Hicks is the steady, playmaking guard who can run an offense and get hot
In the 2025-26 season, A.J. Hicks showed guard skills that translate: ESPN lists him at 11.5 points, 5.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds, and 38.4% shooting, while his Morehead State profile and past game logs show a tough, high-usage lead guard who can pile up assists and create offense. He fits teams that need composure, ball security, and a true table-setter with scoring pop; the catch is that his value comes more from command and creation than pure shot-making. In short: crafty, competitive, and very much a coach’s connector.
