Long, Versatile Forward With Real Two-Way Utility
Ahmad Wagner is a **versatile frontcourt piece** whose value comes from size, defensive activity, and efficient finishing rather than high-volume scoring; in his Iowa career he averaged **3.1 points, 2.6 rebounds, 0.7 assists**, with 43 steals and 29 blocks, showing he can affect the game in multiple ways[3][4]. He also logged **96 career games** before leaving Iowa in 2018 to pursue football, which underscores both his adaptability and the fact that his current basketball profile is historical rather than active[1][3]. If you need a connector who can defend, rebound, and make low-mistake plays, he fits; if you need a primary scorer, he does not[3][4].
