Right-handed Samford outfielder with pro-size tools and upside
Boykin is a 6'1", 200-pound right-handed outfielder for Samford whose appeal starts with his physical build and projectable baseball profile; Baseball America lists him as a legitimate scouting-track player with room to keep growing into power and all-around impact. At 22, he fits the mold of a player teams watch for athleticism, arm strength, and developmental upside rather than just box-score volume. Reliable public reporting in the search results is limited, so the clearest takeaway is that he looks like a toolsy, evaluative target for programs or teams that value projection and polish.
