Simone Singleton brings veteran pop, steadiness, and catcher grit to Hampton
In the 2026 season, Hampton catcher Simone Singleton logged action in 15 games with nine starts and delivered timely production, including hits against UMES and Elon plus a double with two runs scored against UMES.[1] She profiles as a compact, contact-oriented backstop who adds roster value through experience, defensive reliability behind the plate, and the kind of composed, team-first presence coaches tend to love in a catcher.[1][2]
