Jalen Johnson brings two-way versatility and playmaking upside to Mississippi State
Jalen Johnson stands out as a **long, position-flexible guard/forward** who can impact the game as a scorer, rebounder, and connector, giving Mississippi State a valuable modern wing piece. His biggest differentiators are his **size, defensive switchability, and ability to handle, pass, and attack closeouts**, which make him more than a catch-and-shoot role player. The key question for fit is whether your team wants a high-upside, multi-use perimeter piece who can guard up a level and create offense without needing the ball every possession; if so, he’s a strong fit.
