Matt Bruno, GW’s strike-throwing righty with starter-level durability
Bruno has worked into a more established role for George Washington, making 18 appearances and logging 31.0 innings in 2024 with 27 strikeouts, which points to a usable fastball/command mix and enough stamina to be trusted in games[2]. His early college line was rough in limited relief work, but he’s since shown the kind of durability and experience teams value in a right-handed pitcher who can absorb innings and keep the game moving[1][2].
