Blue Hens Spark Plug with Speed, Versatility, and Sacrifice-Bunt Swagger
In the 2025 season, Grace Hausamann hit .278 with 15 runs scored and nine sacrifice bunts for Delaware, then opened 2026 with multi-hit flashes, including a career-high-tying three-hit game, showing she can be a pesky table-setter with real speed and situational value. Delaware’s staff has praised her as a left-handed, high-IQ “triple threat” who gets excellent reads on the bases and can cover multiple spots, which makes her a fit for teams that want versatility, hustle, and low-drama production rather than flashy power.
