Marist kicker Samer Layous brings proven leg strength and reliable scoring touch
Samer Layous is a high-value kicking weapon for Marist: in the 2025 season, he hit 80.0% of his field goals and 93.8% of his extra points, and he drilled a 46-yard field goal against Stetson to help extend the Red Foxes’ control in a 41-13 win.[4][1][2] His differentiator is range—Marist lists his school-record 54-yard field goal—and his background as a record-setting soccer scorer hints at poise and ball-striking feel that translate well to pressure kicks.[3]
