Gallego is a 6-foot guard who carved out a bigger role at Maine by serving as a steady connector on offense, leading the team in assists in 2024-25 and earning All-America East Third Team honors after averaging 7.9 points, 4.4 rebounds and 3.6 assists per game.[9][16][17] What makes her interesting is the blend of size, passing feel and occasional scoring upside—she hit a career-high 23 points with five 3s against Bryant—and she also gives teams rebounding help from the guard spot.[5][9] She looks like a fit for a system that values decision-making, spacing and multi-positional length.[14][17]
