Bennett Crerar is flashing pop for Princeton after a fast freshman start
In the 2026 season, Princeton infielder Bennett Crerar showed early impact and real upside, finishing with a .279 average and nine RBIs while ranking third in the lineup and delivering extra-base pop, including his first collegiate homer in a two-run burst against Duke[2][11][13]. The 6-foot-4, right-handed hitter brings a big-bodied frame, developing power, and enough athleticism to handle the infield, with recruiting reports noting a sub-7.0 60-yard dash and strong exit velocity indicators[3][14]. He looks like a fit for teams wanting a young bat with room to grow rather than a finished product[2][3].
