Tristan Delaplante brings size, arm talent, and pro-style upside to Alcorn State
In the 2026 season, Tristan Delaplante is a 6-foot-2, 225-pound junior right-handed pitcher for Alcorn State with a power frame that hints at late-inning upside, but his current college numbers are still rough: 3 appearances, 1.1 innings, and a 33.75 ERA with 0 strikeouts[1][5]. His background suggests intrigue rather than polish, including a reported fastball up to 88.7 mph in earlier tracking and a right-on-right profile that fits a bullpen development project[2][8]. If your team wants a physically mature arm with room to grow, he’s a name to watch; if you need instant results, he’s still a work in progress[1][4].
