In the 2025-26 season, Cooper has been a steady two-way piece for Louisiana Tech, averaging 9.7 points, 7.7 rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 26 minutes per game while shooting 47.1% from the field.[2][6] His separator is his rare rebounding production for a guard/wing, plus active hands that create turnovers and extra possessions, which makes him valuable even when the shot isn’t falling.[14] The knock is outside shooting, which has hovered around 29% from three, so he fits best as an energy wing who defends, rebounds, and complements more traditional scorers.[2][11][14]
