Will Simonton gives Quinnipiac a low-usage, rim-protecting center with tidy efficiency
In the 2025-26 season, Simonton is a role-playing center who contributes modest scoring and rebounding while bringing legitimate interior size and shot-blocking value, plus efficient finishing around the rim. ESPN lists him at 1.9 points, 1.9 rebounds, 0.3 assists and 41.0% shooting, while Quinnipiac’s roster bio notes he previously averaged 1.8 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks per game at UIC[2][4]. The fit appeal is clear: he looks like a dependable, low-ego big who can anchor second-unit minutes, protect the paint, and do the dirty work without needing touches[2][4].
