Mateo Noto brings legit bat speed, athleticism, and New York-state title pedigree to Indiana
Noto arrives at Indiana as a polished middle-infield prospect with real pop and speed: Perfect Game ranked him No. 398 nationally and No. 12 in New York, and his senior-year line at Poly Prep included a .316 average, 24 hits, 17 runs, 3 home runs, and 20 RBIs while helping win a 2025 state title. He also flashed a 6.84-second 60-yard dash and a 92 mph peak exit velocity, suggesting impact tools, not just contact. That combination makes him intriguing for a staff wanting athletic upside with a competitive, winning résumé.
