Big-bodied edge presence with proven 2025 production for Delaware State
Emerson Martin, a 6-foot-5, 280-pound senior defensive end for Delaware State in the 2025 season, gave the Hornets a sturdy, experienced edge option and posted 7 total tackles, 5 solo stops, 2 assists, and 1 sack in 2025. His appeal is the old-school part of the job: length, size, and enough anchor to hold the edge while still flashing occasional backfield disruption. He profiles as a dependable rotational or starting-caliber DE who brings maturity, physicality, and a no-nonsense fit for a defense looking for presence more than flash.
