Ella Hill is giving SFA real middle-order juice in 2026
In the 2026 season, Stephen F. Austin catcher Ella Hill has been a productive bat, posting 21 hits, 17 runs, 18 RBIs and 6 home runs in 70 plate appearances, with a .244 average and .778 OPS. She brings legit pop and run-production from the catcher spot, plus size and right-handed power at 6-foot-2. The appeal goes beyond the box score: she has been used in the lineup enough to show trust from the staff, and her extra-base threat makes her a sneaky-fit difference maker for a team needing offense from a premium defensive position.
