Brandon Newman gives ULM a proven floor-spacing guard with two-way experience
Newman is a 6'4" guard whose value is built on shooting, versatility, and veteran experience rather than volume scoring; at Oklahoma State in the 2024-25 season, he averaged 7.3 points, 3.6 rebounds, and 1.1 assists while shooting 38.3% from the field, and earlier scouting praised him as one of the better catch-and-shoot threats in the country. That makes him a useful fit for teams needing a spacing wing/guard who can play within structure, defend multiple spots, and bring steady, low-drama production.
