Ben Barrett gives Florida State a gritty, multi-role edge — and a timely bat
In the 2026 season, Barrett is a senior right-hander for Florida State whose value goes beyond the mound: he’s a captain, a veteran presence, and a versatile piece who has helped the Seminoles in relief, at first base, and even at the plate. His biggest differentiators are competitiveness and adaptability — after early-season pitching struggles, he was moved into a hybrid role and responded with a hot stretch offensively, including key late-game moments in postseason play. If your team wants toughness, flexibility, and a player who can handle pressure without blinking, Barrett fits.
