Max Humphrey is a contact-first, speed-addled spark for Kent State
In the 2026 season, Max Humphrey has been a useful all-around piece for Kent State, hitting .279 with a .377 OBP, 17 hits, 13 RBI and 18 stolen bases while showing he can help in multiple ways beyond the box score. He’s a 6-foot-1, 200-pound outfielder with right-handed bat/arm, and the appeal is the mix of sneaky on-base ability, extra pressure on defenses, and opportunistic run creation; in 2025, he also flashed a .292 average with a .452 OBP in limited action. For a team wanting athleticism, speed and a grinder mentality, he looks like a fit.
