Ohio State’s Swiss-Army Knife Guard
In the 2022-23 season, Isaac Likekele gave Ohio State a rugged, versatile backcourt presence: 3.8 points, 4.0 rebounds, and 2.8 assists per game in 21.8 minutes, with the ability to defend multiple spots and handle physical, high-effort assignments[2][9]. What makes him worth caring about isn’t just the box score—it’s the toughness, rebounding from the guard spot, and glue-guy leadership that coaches love, plus a track record of being a steady playmaker who can impact winning even when he’s not the focal scorer[11][13][14].
