Tanner Burlingame brings rare size and developmental upside to UMass’s offensive line
Burlingame is a 6-foot-5, 305-pound redshirt sophomore offensive lineman who has not yet logged college game action at UMass, so his value is mostly projection right now rather than proven production.[3][1] What makes him interesting is the frame, recruiting pedigree, and multi-position background: he was a three-star recruit, played both offensive line and defensive tackle in high school, and won back-to-back state titles before helping his team reach the 2023 championship game.[3] He looks like a good fit for a program that can develop power, leverage, and technique over time.[3][8]
