Chase Snavely brings size, strikeout upside, and a workhorse look to Delaware State's rotation
In the 2026 season, Delaware State’s 6-foot-4 sophomore right-hander Chase Snavely has logged 46.2 innings with 40 strikeouts, showing the kind of bat-missing stuff coaches love to bet on even when the ERA has been rough around the edges. He flashed that upside as a freshman too, when he struck out 15 in 16.1 innings and posted a five-K season high against Manhattan in 2025. The differentiator is the frame and swing-and-miss ability: he looks like a pitcher who can keep getting better as his command sharpens.
