Big-name talent, but no current Howard season to evaluate
Makur Maker’s Howard Bison chapter is best remembered for his 2020–21 debut, when the 6-11 forward averaged 11.5 points, 6.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists and 1.0 block in just two games before a groin injury shut him down. He was a five-star recruit and a program-shifting commitment for Howard, which is the real differentiator: size, skill, and star-level credibility. For a team, the upside is obvious, but the current fit is unclear because he is no longer on Howard’s roster and has continued his pro career abroad.
