Cali Bennett is flashing real upside as a contact-first, speed-and-defense outfielder for Louisiana Tech
In the 2026 season, freshman/sophomore Cali Bennett has been a useful spark for Louisiana Tech, batting .244 with 15 runs, 19 hits, 4 doubles, 4 RBIs, and 5-for-5 stolen bases while handling the outfield for the Bulldogs[2][6]. Her recruiting profile was strong too: she arrived as a nationally ranked outfielder, known for a left-handed bat, speed, and a high on-base approach, and early game notes show she can stack multi-hit performances and create pressure on the bases[1][4][5]. If you want a player who adds pace, contact, and defensive range rather than just raw power, Bennett fits nicely.
