Dashawn McDowell

Dashawn McDowell brings veteran guard savvy and two-way grit to Seattle U

McDowell is the kind of steady, experienced guard that coaches love: in the 2019-20 season at Central Oklahoma, he averaged 10.8 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 1.2 assists while shooting 46.4% from the field and 72.6% at the line, showing a balanced, physical all-around game. He’s been described as a heads-up offensive player who can score and distribute, with active defense that disrupts opponents. For a team, that means a mature, low-drama connector who can raise the floor—especially valuable if you want toughness, versatility, and a player who competes on both ends.
