Landon Manzi brings pro-caliber arm talent and upside to Northeastern
Manzi is a 6-foot-4, 195-pound right-hander who arrived at Northeastern with real pedigree: he was drafted by the Texas Rangers in the 14th round of the 2025 MLB Draft, and scouting reports praised a clean, loose arm, downhill plane, and a usable slider with late action. In the 2025 summer season with Norwich, he logged 8.0 innings with 7 strikeouts, showing miss-bat ability even in a small sample. His appeal is upside, strike-throwing projection, and a frame that scouts like; the main question is how quickly that raw stuff turns into consistent college production.
