Alex Foster was a 6-foot-5, 292-pound redshirt freshman defensive lineman who arrived at Baylor as a four-star-caliber recruit, ranked by On3 as the No. 152 overall player and by 247Sports as Mississippi’s No. 18 prospect and the No. 69 defensive lineman in the nation in the 2025 recruiting cycle. Baylor’s 2025 tribute and AP’s reporting underscore why he mattered: long, powerful, and disruptive with big-room potential, the kind of lineman whose edge is as much upside and intensity as raw size.
