Creighton Morisch brings Austin Peay a rugged, high-IQ frontcourt engine
In the 2025-26 season, the 6-foot-10 senior forward gave Austin Peay a low-usage, high-efficiency frontcourt presence, averaging 1.3 points, 1.9 rebounds and 0.4 assists while shooting 46.2% from the field over 31 games. He stands out less as a box-score bully and more as a connective big: Austin Peay’s staff specifically highlighted his ability to rebound outside his area, defend as a true presence, stretch the floor, and even facilitate from the frontcourt. He also arrived with a strong reputation, having won 2024-25 NSIC Defensive Player of the Year at Sioux Falls.
