William Caneer brings disruptive edge and rising production to Bucknell’s defensive front
In the 2025 season, Bucknell DL William Caneer showed real week-to-week impact: he played in all 12 games, posted 13 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, and 2 sacks, after a stronger 2024 season with 23 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, 1.5 sacks, and a forced fumble. At 6-foot-3, 238 pounds, he offers good length and a nose for backfield disruption, with the kind of motor coaches love in a rotational or starting front-seven piece. The big sell? He’s trending up, plays through a full schedule, and flashes playmaking burst—not just bulk.
