veteran UTSA guard with steady two-way value
Erik Czumbel is a seasoned 6-foot-3 guard whose best trait is reliability: he has long shown solid perimeter shooting, smart point-guard instincts, and a willingness to defend and handle the little things for UTSA. In the 2019-20 season, he averaged 4.2 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 47 assists while shooting 36.6% from three and 88.2% at the line, and he also delivered a memorable game-winning layup at Rice. He fits best as a low-drama, rotation-level backcourt piece who can stabilize lineups and make winning plays without needing the ball to dominate.
