Efficient Big Man Now Free Agent After DII Stint at Clark Atlanta
Silas Mason, a 6'7" forward, showcased elite efficiency at UNC Asheville in 2021-22, leading the team with a 64.2% FG% while appearing in 28 games (3.9 PPG, 1.4 RPG); after transferring to DII Clark Atlanta, he went undrafted in the 2025 NBA Draft and is now an unrestricted free agent. His high school pedigree (8.8 PPG, 5.7 RPG, 2.8 APG as junior) and three-time all-conference honors highlight a gritty, rebounding forward with shot-blocking chops—perfect for teams needing a reliable, high-percentage scorer off the bench without injury red flags.
