Aidan McAskie brings size, patience, and pop to Pitt’s lineup
Aidan McAskie is a 6-foot-4 graduate transfer who gives Pittsburgh a left-handed bat with real versatility across the outfield and infield, plus some early 2026 production: .333 average, .929 OPS, 7 hits, 3 runs, 2 doubles, 1 homer, and 3 RBIs. He arrived after starting 52 of 53 games for Charleston Southern in 2025 and winning Big South Scholar-Athlete of the Year, which hints at a high-floor, high-IQ addition who shows up ready. If your team wants a mature, physical, multi-position bat with on-base upside and some sneaky power, this is a very solid fit.
