Young Tarleton Arm with Strikeout Upside and Big-Game Experience
In the 2025 season, Riney showed real development for Tarleton State, appearing in nine games and logging 12 innings with 8 strikeouts, 4 walks, and a 2.92 ERA — a solid step forward from her limited freshman work in 2024. She’s a right-handed pitcher with a competitive résumé dating back to high school, where she was known as a two-way performer and earned all-district honors. Her calling card is upside: she’s still early in her college career, but she’s already shown she can handle innings and compete against quality lineups. Good fit if you want a developing, tough-minded arm with room to grow.
